Tito Jackson, a member of the renowned family band The Jackson 5 and brother to Michael and Janet Jackson, has passed away at the age of 70, as confirmed by his nephew Siggy Jackson .

Entertainment Tonight, the first to report the news, states that Jackson died on Sunday, September 15, due to an apparent heart attack.
Before his death, Tito was actively performing with his brothers Jackie and Marlon Jackson as part of The Jacksons. They had shows lined up across Scotland, California, and England during the summer of 2024. Their most recent performance was on September 8 in Surrey, England. Upcoming appearances were scheduled for October 25 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and November 1 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Earlier this week, while in Munich, Germany, with The Jacksons, Tito Jackson shared on Facebook that the brothers had "visited the beautiful memorial dedicated to our beloved brother, Michael Jackson." He expressed their gratitude for the tribute, stating, "We're deeply thankful for this special place that honors not only his memory but also our shared legacy. Thank you for preserving his spirit."
Tito Jackson was an original member of The Jackson 5, alongside his brothers Michael, Jackie, Jermaine, and Marlon, and later Randy Jackson. The iconic family band scored major hits in the 1970s with songs like "I Want You Back," "ABC," and "I'll Be There." The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 and was also celebrated with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Tito Jackson's final single, "Love One Another," was released in 2021. In the YouTube description, Tito explained that the song was recorded in the aftermath of the pandemic, aiming to deliver a message of love, unity, and peace during challenging times.
